How to request a quote of mold?

Firstly, please send an RFQ that is as detailed as you can make it.

Every day we get inquiries a lot, but very few are complete one, most are only one or two sentences, such as: please give us best price for ×× mold. Then we need to send to an email to ask the drawing, the mold construction request and so on. Hence our tips for sending an RFQ is to be specific about the type of mold:

1. Send us 2D/3D drawings of plastic part

2. Tell us the number of cavities, or your injection machine size(clamping force, tie bar distance) and your request on production quantity of this product. We can choose suitable cavities for you.

3. Tell the steel, expectations of mold life, and any guarantees you’ll need

If you are not certain about any of these items, please try to tell us more information and our engineer will help you determine exactly what type of mold is best for your requirements.

The more detailed the RFQ, the more accurate the mold maker’s quote will be.
